She Howls Words for Wildbeing Retreat at Boggle Hole near Whitby 2020!

Boggle Hole

More details coming in Autumn but here’s a taster for now…

Come and experience a relaxing and transformative weekend of creative writing for wildbeing facilitated by Dal Kular (aka ME!)!

We’ll be snuggled and smuggled in the delightful cosyness of Boggle Hole, a tiny inlet just a short way from magical Robin Hood’s Bay and one of my most favourite places on Planet Earth. This area is full of myths and mystery from the infamous healing boggles to the smuggler stories of Robin Hood’s Bay - guaranteed to get you imagineering in unexpected ways.

We’ll be imagineering and creating over 5 facilitated writing sessions with Dal including a writing walkshop around Robin Hood’s Bay and we’ll be making the most of the local environment for our writing.

On Friday evening there is an optional night out at the always welcoming Robin Hood’s Bay Folk Club, tucked upstairs in Ye Olde Dolphin Pub, where you will hear beautiful local folk songs and sea shanties.

On Saturday night there is an optional and highly recommended Robin Hood’s Bay Ghost Walk where you’ll hear all the local myths and legends (subject to the walk running that evening!).

Nutshell - I am over-excited to hosting this retreat at Boggle Hole and sharing time with you and your words!

Places are limited to 6 women guests. If you are interested in coming along, please email me at
